Assistance dog friendly municipalities
More and more cities, municipalities, districts and federal states are becoming assistance dog-friendly thanks to our access campaign!
When using the map markers, the pop-up links to a page with more information. First click on the marker and then on the pop-up to read the entry! Links in list form can be found below the map.
This is how it works:
- Publish official statement
- Mark all municipal locations in DogMap
- Assistance Dogs Welcome stickers presented at all municipal entrances
- Add “except assistance dogs” to dog bans in house rules
- Provide staff and visitors with educational material
- Set up regional contacts
